+ CONSULTATIONS:

• I am happy to schedule a consultation for your tattoo if it would be helpful to best communicate your goals. Consultations are scheduled in advance. Reach out at info@mauriciopastor.com to schedule a time slot that works best for you or call 619-709-7233.

+ DEPOSITS:

• To book any project, all appointments require $250 deposit for projects. This means I cannot put you on the schedule or draw for you without a deposit. Deposits are payable in cash at the shop by appointment, or via Venmo to Mauricio Pastor.

• Deposits come off the total cost of your tattoo at the time of your appointment (or final session if you're doing multiple sessions. They are strictly non-refundable.

• If you need to reschedule, let me know at least 48-hours in advance at info@mauriciopastor.com and your deposit will roll over to your rescheduled appointment. You are limited to 2 reschedules.

+ TATTOO DRAWINGS:

• I do not email drawings or drafts before your appointment time. Your drawing will be made ready for the time of your appointment, due to workload, as well as to maintain security of my artwork. I schedule appointments with plenty of cushion time in case minor changes must be made.

• Depending on time constraints, asking for re-draws may result in rescheduling, that way neither your drawing and tattoo are not being rushed. Large-scale work will be scheduled a second consultation to look at preliminary drawings and talk about drafts together.

+ DAY OF APPOINTMENT:

• Please show up early to find parking and to fill out any necessary paper work.

• Space is limited and it is best to reduce distractions, so be sure to come alone to your appointment. Sleep well, and eat a decent meal within 2 hours of coming in. You need your blood sugar to be high for your appointment, so it is also smart to bring high-calorie snacks (like protein bars, juice, etc.).

• Headphones are allowed. Please limit any phone conversations/Facetime calls before and after the tattoo is being made in order to minimize personal movement during the tattoo process!

• Some tattoos take an hour or two longer than expected, so please be sure to not have any immediate obligations that could interfere with your appointment.

+ PAYMENT:

• Cash only until further notice.

+ RESCHEDULING:

• If you need to reschedule - Give me as much notice as possible. Reschedules within 48 hours of your appointment time may forfeit deposit.

Rescheduling without 48-hour notice, or rescheduling two or more times may result in forfeiture of deposit.

+ LATE/NO SHOW:

• If you are to arrive 30 minutes or more late to your appointment, I reserve the right to reschedule your time slot. If you no call / no show for a consultation, scheduling another consultation will require a deposit for your appointment.

No call/no shows or same-day cancellations without fair reason (at my discretion) on the day of your tattoo will result in forfeiture of your deposit.

• If you think you will run late, PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL TO LET ME KNOW! If you don't give me a heads up I may think you're not coming at all and leave for the day!

+ PRICE QUOTES/MINIMUMS/BUDGETS:

• Custom work runs $250/hr. It is important to understand that you book and cannot finish a full days session, the full payment is still due.

• In order to give an accurate price quote, I need detailed information about the tattoo you have in mind; the size (described like - "half-sleeve on my left arm", "full right leg sleeve", etc.), the location on your body, and any reference photos you might have been looking at that are similar to the project you have in mind.

• With that information, I will be able to give you a general time & price range. It is impossible to tell in advance exactly how much time and work your tattoo will take, so a final cost will be decided once we have completed your tattoo. We will not exceed the quote you have been given, without expressly talking about it firsthand.
